When Mansory wants to give it to us good, they know how. This is the Mansory Cyrus (Khouresh Mansory told us that Cyrus was the first king of Iran), and – even though every other colleague here disagrees with us – we feel it the best use of carbon fiber we’ve seen since we’ve been here. The car is DB9-based and has been redone in aerospace, pre-preg carbon fiber, and gets 28 extra horses.

Well, all except the rear fenders because they couldn’t shape the carbon fiber accordingly, so the carbon fiber — extended in width by two inches from the original car – is glued to the standard panels with adhesive bought from Lamborghini. Otherwise it’s all CF. No, the roof scoop isn’t functional – but beauty makes no promises to functionality. You can also get the DBS done up thusly, and although we don’t know what that car is called, we hope it’s Xerxes. The Cyrus will run you €380,000 on top of a DB9. We won’t call it money well spent… but we’d spend it.

The Mansory Cyrus driver will take his seat in a elaborately refined interior which is nothing short of the exterior. The entire modification includes pedals and foot rests made of aluminium as well as exquisite door sills and head rests with embroidered Cyrus logos. The introductory model showcases a pretty radical two-tone theme with red and black luxury leather. Custom carbon fiber pieces are fitted on the dashboard and center console. Hand-stitched decorative trim is featured on the dash and seats. There is also a redesigned ergonomic steering wheel. Aluminum is used for the pedals and foot rests.

If you wanted to take a look at the best looking car at Frankfurt Auto Show, you might just want to try the Mansory Cyrus. The car looks like a racer and I am sure it can kick some dust when speeding on the highway. This custom DBS comes with a carbon body and is similar to Aston Martin DBS. The unique special front end is something that I would definitely look for, because you would normally not get it in other cars. There is no information about the Cyrus yet, only that it looks very chic and cool and almost futuristic. I would have loved to get this car for myself but since there is no information we shall have to wait for more to be unveiled by Mansory.
